8-Day Lhasa to Mount Everest Base Camp Group Tour

Tibet's most popular itinerary: 8 days from Lhasa across the Tibetan Plateau to the north face of Mount Everest. Days 1-3: Lhasa highlights (Potala, Jokhang, Drepung, Sera). Day 4: drive to Shigatse via Yamdrok Lake and Karola Glacier. Day 5: Tashilhunpo Monastery + drive to Shigatse. Day 6: drive to Rongbuk Monastery (5,100m) — the highest monastery in the world — overnight at EBC tent guesthouse with Mt Everest sunrise/sunset views. Day 7: return to Shigatse. Day 8: back to Lhasa, departure. Includes 4-star hotels (tent at EBC), permits (TTP + Aliens + Border), private vehicle, oxygen.
