Traveler Reviews
My camera roll says Dingzhou Ancient City Heritage Day was the big moment. My actual favourite was Beijing; it felt less obvious and more personal.
What helped was simple: there was no theatrical “VIP” treatment, just useful organisation and a guide who noticed when we needed a pause. That suited us. The time around Dingzhou Ancient City Heritage Day was not the part I would cut.
Looking back, the schedule is fairly full. I would have liked another twenty minutes at Dingzhou Ancient City Heritage Day, but I would not drop any of the main stops.
Looking back, I would book this again for the pacing, not because every stop was spectacular. The ordinary transitions made Beijing feel like a place rather than a set of postcards.
Honestly, a full 10 hours, in the good sense. Wear comfortable shoes and leave the evening loose. I would still leave extra time for Dingzhou Ancient City Heritage Day.
