Includes 6 Guangzhou Cantonese tastings (Xiguan rice rolls, double-skin milk, sampan congee, etc.).s old markets and side streets visiting 8 small stops that each specialize in one dish family. You'll sample crispy chicken cookie (鸡仔饼), traditional bamboo-pole-pressed noodles (竹升面), Cantonese roasted duck, traditional sesame paste sweet soup, and ginger milk curd (姜撞奶) at the original Foshan shop that invented it.

Traveler Reviews
One detail from the day: the food came quickly, but the tour did not. We had time to ask where each dish came from and how people in Guangzhou usually order it.
Dietary questions in Guangzhou were handled before we started, not halfway through the first tasting. That made the session much easier to enjoy.
A practical note: one Guangzhou dish was outside my comfort zone, which was half the reason I booked. Asking how locals eat it made the stop much more interesting. I would still leave extra time for Cantonese Cuisine Tasting : Old Streets and Markets.
In hindsight, not every minute was engineered into a “moment.” There was time for coffee, questions and simply watching Guangzhou go by.
