Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area: Cross the river to explore Yuelu Mountain, home to one of China’s oldest academies—Yuelu Academy. Hunan Provincial Museum: Home to the world-famous Mawangdui Han tombs, the museum houses the astonishingly preserved Lady Dai (over 2,000 years old) and displays ancient silk, books, and lacquerware—a must-see for cultural lovers. Wenheyou Super Mall: Step into a retro time capsule at Wenheyou—a reconstructed 1980s-style street market and food court. Expect neon lights, vintage signs, chaotic alleys, and all kinds of local street food vendors. Great spot to snack, take photos, or just people-watch. Lacquer Fan Painting Workshop: Create your own Changsha souvenir at a lacquer fan workshop.
