I went in most excited about Daxing Mountain Coast Day. Funny enough, Guangzhou is the part I kept talking about afterward.
What helped was simple: our questions wandered well beyond the standard facts, and the guide stayed with them. That made the time at Guangzhou much more interesting.
Looking back, the schedule is fairly full. I would have liked another twenty minutes at Daxing Mountain Coast Day, but I would not drop any of the main stops.
Looking back, I would book this again for the pacing, not because every stop was spectacular. The ordinary transitions made Guangzhou feel like a place rather than a set of postcards. I would still leave extra time for Daxing Mountain Coast Day.
