For us, what stayed with me wasn't the booking or the car. It was the time at Tongzhou River Island & Fruit Picking Day, when we could slow down and actually look around.
Practically speaking, communication beforehand was straightforward. On the day, the plan was explained once and then everything simply felt easy to follow. For 9 hours around Hangzhou, the pace felt about right.
I underestimated how much standing the day involved. A short sit-down between stops made the second half much easier. My only advice is not to shorten the time at Tongzhou River Island & Fruit Picking Day.
Honestly, I had a long list of things I thought I needed to see. After Hangzhou, I was happier slowing down and noticing fewer things properly.
In short, I came with questions, left with more questions, and mean that as a compliment. I would rather keep the pause at Tongzhou River Island & Fruit Picking Day than add another stop.
