Looking back, what I remember is the change from one stop to the next: different room, different smell, different crowd. Huangshan was only one part of it.
The unglamorous part: dietary questions in Hangzhou, Huangshan and Guangzhou were handled before we started, not halfway through the first tasting. That made the session much easier to enjoy.
Before you go, come hungry in Hangzhou, Huangshan and Guangzhou and say clearly what you cannot eat. There was enough variety that skipping one item did not make the experience feel smaller.
The best compliment I can give is that I never checked how many stops were left. Huangshan arrived at just the right point in the route.
