In the evening explore Taoxichuan, China's first ceramic-culture creative district, where 1950s factory halls and 1980s machinery have been reborn as galleries, studios, design shops and night markets that trace the evolution of modern porcelain making. In the afternoon, choose between an early departure or an excursion to Yaoli Ancient Town, historically named the cradle of Jingdezhen porcelain, where old streets, water mills and the remains of early kilns sit in a lush mountain setting.
