Looking back, by dinner we were still comparing notes about Bamboo Mountain & Waterfall Day. That is usually how I judge whether a tour was worth doing.
The unglamorous part: pickup, tickets and the order of stops were handled without fuss. That sounds ordinary, but it is exactly what you want on a full sightseeing day. For 9 hours around Moganshan, the pace felt about right.
One thing I learned: traffic added time to the day, so comfortable shoes and a little patience helped. The visit itself did not feel shortened. My only advice is not to shorten the time at Bamboo Mountain & Waterfall Day.
Not every minute was engineered into a “moment.” There was time for coffee, questions and simply watching Moganshan go by.
In short, no grand claims from me: this was organised well, felt personal and showed us Moganshan at a sensible pace.
