Traveler Reviews
Looking back, 6 days looked busy on paper, but the route had enough change of scene to keep it interesting. The stop at the trail had room to breathe instead of becoming another quick photo.
The unglamorous part: pickup and the trail start were timed well, so we were walking before the busiest part of the day. Water and rest stops were discussed clearly. The time around the trail was not the part I would cut.
One thing I learned: the trail is more physical than the tidy itinerary makes it sound. Proper shoes helped, and I was glad we kept water handy. I would keep the Mount outline as it was.
I liked this more a day later, when I looked back through my photos and realised how different Mount and the trail had felt.
No grand claims from me: this was organised well, felt personal and showed us Mount at a sensible pace.
