Traveler Reviews
Looking back, there was a fair amount in 8 hours and 30 minutes, but it never felt like a checklist. The stop at Suzhou Day from Shanghai by Bullet Train had room to breathe instead of becoming another quick photo.
The unglamorous part: the private format mattered most between the main stops. No waiting for a coach to refill and no counting thirty people before moving on. For 8 hours and 30 minutes around Shanghai and Suzhou, the pace felt about right.
One thing I learned: lunch landed later than I expected, so a small snack was useful. I was happier not cutting the time at Suzhou Day from Shanghai by Bullet Train.
The best compliment I can give is that I never checked how many stops were left. Suzhou Day from Shanghai by Bullet Train arrived at just the right point in the route.
No grand claims from me: this was organised well, felt personal and showed us Shanghai and Suzhou at a sensible pace.
