About This Tour
Huangguoshu Waterfall, located in Guizhou Province, is the largest waterfall in Asia and one of China’s most famous natural attractions. With a height of 77.8 meters and a width of 101 meters, the waterfall presents a magnificent and powerful view.
One of its most unique features is the Water-Curtain Cave behind the waterfall, where visitors can walk through the cave and experience the stunning sight of rushing water right in front of them. Huangguoshu is also one of the few waterfalls in the world that can be viewed from multiple angles, including from above, below, in front, and behind.
The surrounding scenic area includes other beautiful sites such as Doupotang Waterfall and Tianxing Bridge, forming a rich natural landscape of rivers, rocks, and forests. On sunny days, colorful rainbows often appear in the mist of the waterfall, creating a magical atmosphere.

Looking back, a small thing I appreciated: the guide let to Guiyang Huangguoshu Waterfall with Lunch speak for itself sometimes. Not every quiet moment needed another speech.
The unglamorous part: the private format mattered most between the main stops. No waiting for a coach to refill and no counting thirty people before moving on. For 8 hours and 30 minutes around this part of China, the pace felt about right.
One thing I learned: lunch landed later than I expected, so a small snack was useful. I was happier not cutting the time at to Guiyang Huangguoshu Waterfall with Lunch.
I liked this more a day later, when I looked back through my photos and realised how different this part of China and to Guiyang Huangguoshu Waterfall with Lunch had felt.
