- 10:30 - Materials and artisan demonstration: Materials are prepared in advance. The artisan demonstrates the key tools, safety points, and beginner-friendly technique while your guide translates.

For us, there are plenty of polished photos online; the useful surprise was having time at the Terracotta Warriors without being moved along every five minutes.
Practically speaking, the route through Xi'an could be awkward to arrange independently. Having one person keep the timing straight made the whole thing calmer. I would still leave extra time for the Terracotta Warriors.
The pace suited us, but this is not a lazy half day. Leave some space before whatever you plan next. The time around the Terracotta Warriors was not the part I would cut.
