Traveler Reviews
In hindsight, I expected the Zhangjiajie peaks to be the headline, and it was. What I didn't expect was how much context from the guide changed what I noticed there.
Practically speaking, communication beforehand was straightforward. On the day, the plan was explained once and then everything simply felt easy to follow. I would keep the Zhangjiajie outline as it was.
I underestimated how much standing the day involved. A short sit-down between stops made the second half much easier. I would still leave extra time for the Zhangjiajie peaks.
Honestly, I would book this again for the pacing, not because every stop was spectacular. The ordinary transitions made Zhangjiajie feel like a place rather than a set of postcards. The time around the glass walkway was not the part I would cut.
Honestly, I came with questions, left with more questions, and mean that as a compliment. I would rather keep the pause at the glass walkway than add another stop.
